Try Personalising the Service
At Far Northern Funerals, we encourage you to try and personalise the service. Not only will this help with the grieveing process but it also allows you your own personal moment with your loved one.
|
 |
* Meet with the person who will be conducting the service to plan the service fully, this will ensure that all your concerns and wishes are met with the best possible result.
* Place a large photo on the coffin for the service.
* Place personal items such as photo's, letters, drawings or perhaps a favourite pair of shoes etc.. inside /on top of the coffin |
 |
* Organise for favourite music to be played, CD, organist, choir or perhaps a live performance.
* Encourage family and friends to speak at the funeral service, eg: deliver the eulogy, read a poem religious passage, there is no right or wrong.
* Arrange for clubs or organisations to attend perhaps forming a guard of honour. |
 |
* Perhaps say goodbye with Balloons, doves, butterflies, rose petals etc.
* Arrange for family/friends to act as pallbearers.
*Have a Photo slide presentation or DVD during the service
