Should we or shouldnt we have a viewing before the funeral? Is it neccessary or expected of us?
This is a common question most families will have to ask themselves, whether or not to have a viewing.
Choosing to hold a viewing of a loved one is a very personal decision, however, experience would suggest many benefits. A viewing not only helps with the grieving process but also to face the reality of death and allow quiet time for reflection and personal, quiet good-byes.
We acknowledge that each culture and religion have specific rituals in particular with viewings and accommodate these where possible.
At Far Northern Funerals, we provide a comfortable, quiet place to reflect with your loved one at our funeral home if you wish. |
